The secret’s out…..

So, I can finally reveal the secret project I’ve been involved I n😎
I was contacted by the lovely folks at Seawhite of Brighton in the spring after they saw my Instagram posts, asking if I’d like to help them with a project: I simply love their watercolour sketchbooks, so naturally I said ‘yes’.
I had a month to fill a sketchbook, then film it and talk about each drawing😱 ( My mumbling commentary can be experienced on the full clip on YouTube- bet you can’t tell I had no script? ). The month included a week’s holiday in Ambleside, which might explain the embarrassment of Lake District sketches!🤓)
Hope you enjoy it… be interested to hear what you think?

If this video doesn’t put you off, I am planning more in the near future, including some related to techniques and my drawing processes…what do you think? So, here’s the link to the Youtube clip:

A kind of a trailer…

Almost like the movies, but not really. No music(yet) and no popcorn….

Regular readers may recall that I was involved in a top secret sketchbook project for the lovely folks at Seawhite of Brighton( whose watercolour sketchbooks I use exclusively) back in the spring, and this short update is just to announce that the film of my endeavours will go ‘live’ on the glorious 12th …I’ll post a link here, with full details of the project: here’s a still from the video…and apologies for the random finger/thumb intrusion.
