I was delighted to have been ‘tweeted’ a link to this lovely little film, taken over a day at the Staithes Festival a couple of weeks ago.

I had no idea it was being done – thankfully I’m not actually shown – but there’s a good look around some of my art ( the images in the browser are quick sketches from  past demos) but the main bit I’m pleased to see is the long look at the two sketchbooks I’d taken: if you want to fast forward, my ‘bit’ starts at around 8 minutes and 42 seconds and lasts for a good 2-3 minutes, then a few seconds later on, one of my Staithes cards is being shown to a chap on some steps…..

So, nearly 2 months since I wrote, for which I apologise: I can only offer as an excuse the all-consuming preparations for the annual Staithes Festival of Arts, which was just this last weekend.

Very happy to report ’twas a fabulous event, with many many visitors to my little exhibition space in Broome Cottage – I will publish a longer report later in the week: for now, in response to absolutely loads of requests, both from folk who came to Staithes, and those I met at recent demos, here’s an updated list of the workshops I have booked for the rest of this year, and also into next.
