From my sketchbooks….

This page is a selection of recent sketches from my ever-expanding collection of sketchbooks of various shapes & sizes.

Some are very quick studies done in preparation for ‘proper’ paintings, some are simply images I liked at the time, and a couple are digitally coloured versions of an original sketch. Please ask if there’s anything you’d like to see, some of these have been worked up into full on paintings, and are for sale

  1. Dear John
I have been in touch with you before as an admirer of your work and as my relatives used to live nr Whitby

I follow your work on facebook

As my Auntie for many years lived in Lealholm and also flowergate, Whitby and Runswick Bay area I wanted to contact you to enquire further.

My Auntie has sadly passed away and I wanted to send a card relating to Lealholm or Whitby as a Sympathy/Thinking of you card and put a bit more thought and it will be a touching tribute

I wondered if you could send me any images of the named places which you have painted which you think could be appropriate.

or my email at home is louisebrandwood@yahoo.co.uk

    Thank you

    Kind Regards

    Look Forward to your reply

    Louise
