So good they named it thrice.
Some places are just, well , special.
Ambleside, Keswick, Cumbria in general, Saltaire, the Yorkshire Dales, The Peak District and the lovely stretch of coast along the edge of Yorkshire, from Bridlington & Flamborough all the way to Saltburn in the north, has some real gems, with Staithes , in my humble opinion, the jewel in the crown.There are so many different facets to this great iconic village, and I’m so looking forward to the Arts Festival there in September. Much of my current work – sketches, drawings, paintings – features different aspects as I prepare the pieces I’ll be showing there….
