Save the date

I’ve finally reached a point where I’ve finished all the commissions I had, and I have a few days’ grace, which is allowing me the time to crack on with my calendar artwork for next year. I want to have them ready for the first week in August, so I really need to get on with it.

Here’s a quick picture of the cover and one of the pages…what do you think so far?

This is the cover(so far) I’m still undecided!
This is February.

  2. John thank you for sharing your February cover artwork. In my humble opinion this cover has great perspective and colour tones with the depths the shadows create, its simply that I think it’s wonderful and creates great depth & composition.
Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

  3. The cover is inspirational John and would definitely lead anyone to open the calendar to see the colours ‘in action’! If February is a taste of things to come, I can’t wait to see the rest. This will be a calendar to keep!

  4. Looking forward to the calendar if February is an example. Like the reflections and shadows, the colours too especially the little blue boats. Eye was drawn to those.
