I thought I would let you know of the date of my next workshop in the splendid new premise in Ilkley( less than 2 minutes’ walk from the Art shop…as if we needed any more encouragement!)
It’s on Saturday 13 July, from 10am to 3.30 pm, and following some feedback, I’ve decided to limit numbers to 10 people, so everyone can get the most out of the day: with a bigger group, there’s always the danger that someone could feel ignored, which is the last thing I want.
I’ve also decided to include a tutored session on the basics of perspective drawing, as this seems to be an area that folk appreciate some help with: so as well as more help with line and wash in my style( with some newer techniques I’ve developed), we’ll spend a good hour (or more) on the challenges of one and two point perspective, which are fundamental to making your drawings/paintings more believable.
